What do you do when the unthinkable happens, and the world's greatest superhero becomes the world's greatest super villain?
The Plutonian's former team mates have to grapple with this when he starts annihilating whole cities across the globe. The team doesn't know what triggered the change in Plutonian, but if they can figure it out, they may be able to stop him. Only they're running out of time. The Plutonian is stronger than all of them combined, and he's picking them off one by one.
The series deals with adultery, and has some some sex and nudity, but offers a different perspective on superheroes, something your older teen superhero fans will gobble up.
The series has won an Eisner Award, which is a very big deal in the comics world. It clocks in at ten volumes, and if you haven't read it yet, you should. Mark Waid is known for his smart writing, and it's definitely worth your time.
