The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl by Ryan North and Erica Henderson

Doreen Green, the Unbeatable Squirrel, has a best squirrel friend named Tippy-Toe, a fantastic theme song, and a new roommate. College life is going to be great! If, you know, she can just keep from spilling the beans about her superpowers.

Doreen is part squirrel, which gives her the relative speed, agility, and strength of a squirrel, the ability to talk to squirrels, and a large fluffy tail, which she stuffs down the back of her pants when not masquerading as the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. She is a match physically for most super villains, but she also uses her brain to figure out how to deal with the villains without violence. Add to that her eternal optimism, a host of nutty puns, and you have a unbeatable comic book.

Suggest to teens looking for a light, funny read, or who like Spider-man's witty banter.
