I like to have a craft at anime club because it gives the teens something to do while they sit around debating the merits of their new favourite anime. The shy ones can sit there and participate in the craft without feeling left out. Or that's my hope, anyway.
A recent craft at anime club was making bookmarks out of construction paper and discarded manga. I have a stash of old Shonen Jump magazines that I keep on hand for crafts like this. If you wanted the bookmarks to last longer, you could modge podge them, but we didn't bother. If you have ribbon or yarn on hand, you could also add a tassel.
