Sync 2016

It's May, which means that Sync is in full swing.  Every week this summer they will offer two free audiobook downloads. Each week is a different theme, and they try to vary genre and format throughout the summer. Last summer one of my favourites ended up being a play recorded with full cast. If you haven't checked Sync out, now is a good time. You will need the Overdrive app to download the books.

Sync offers a handy took kit, including posters and brochures, to help you promote it to your teens.

I am a big fan of audiobooks. They are an easy way to catch up on some YA fiction when you're too busy to sit down and read, and apps make downloading and listening to a book on your tablet or smartphone simple. Plus, dreaded jobs like cleaning the bathroom (ugh!) become bearable if you've got a good book playing in your ears.

Note: Sync doesn't have download rights for every country, so unless you live in the US, you may find a few that you're not able to get. I am in Canada, and I have been able to download most of the titles each year.
